It’s no surprise that you hate waiting for prototypes. In the time it takes for the test board to arrive you could probably invent a new method for fabricating prototypes. Lucky for you, someone already came up with a new method. New 3D printers use nanoparticle technology to suspend metals in ink (I don’t know how this works, so don’t ask) in order to print conductive layers. Just like a normal 3D printer, they can also print layers of plastic or other materials to form a substrate. 3D printing can streamline the design process, build functional prototypes, and optimize designs. All for less money.
